"Design is Art with Purpose."

Design is part feeling, part thinking. It is the moment expression takes shape, and when ideas, emotions, and identities are manifested into form with intention and integrity. Design should be an authentic reflection of who we are, or who we want to become.

Much like storytelling, design has both a setting and a narrative. The setting gives it physical presence; the narrative gives it meaning. It is through the harmony of these two that design moves beyond decoration and ornament to become a way of thinking, a way of expressing identity, and a way of shaping experiences.

Every design lives between two dimensions: the physical and the feeling.

I am an interior architect and creative director with 18+ years of experience across Beirut, Dubai, and Chicago, spanning luxury residential, mixed-use, hospitality, retail, and multi-family design.

​

My work combines creative vision, team leadership, and business strategy. I have built and led design teams, developed interior design practices within architecture firms, managed high-value client relationships, and guided projects from concept through handover.

In Chicago, I generated more than $14M in design revenue and founded AYYA Design Haus, recognized by AD PRO within its second year.

​

I believe design is art with purpose: a balance of feeling and thinking, where narrative, materiality, proportion, light, furniture, and detail come together to shape experience.
